Nilesh Qualified from the University of East London in 2002 has worked in Private Practice and within the NHS for many years and has built up a loyal patient list over the years. Nilesh has over the years specialised in the treatment of Spine, Lower Limb and Upper limb conditions. Nilesh still also practices within the NHS as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist where he works closely with the Orthopaedic team to provide an expert physiotherapy service.
Over the years Nilesh has provided support to Professional & Amateur athletes in Rugby, Football, Cricket, Swimming, Thaiboxing & various Martial Arts to name a few. Nilesh was also selected to work as a Physiotherapist at the 'London 2012 Olympic Games' where he was based at the Athletes Polyclinic within the Atheletes Village. Nilesh was working alongside a team of medical experts from around the world treating 'track and field' stars from the wide spectrum of Olympic Sports.
Over the years Nilesh has also developed a strong working relationship with the Orthopaedic Consultants, Specialist Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Personal Fitness Trainers which allows him to offer an holistic physiotherapy service and also is able to draw in expert support and advice as required. Nilesh has trained in Orthopaedic Medicine, Mulligans Concept, Kinetic Control, Bobath Neurology , Muscle Energy Techniques & the Australian institute of Pilates, this has allowed Nilesh to develop his manual therapy & exercise rehabilitation skills. Nilesh over the years has also served as lead Hydrotherapist within the NHS providing expert rehabilitation and often uses the Aqua facilities to rehabilitate sports injuries and neurological conditions at Contact Physiotherapy.
Nilesh has a great deal of experience treating Occupational Health and Road traffic Injuries and uses a diverse approach getting the patient back to full function quickly. Nilesh has also practiced Acupuncture since 2003 & has attended several Acupuncture courses including Acupuncture in Sport, Trigger Points, Spinal Acupuncture & Chronic . Nilesh is also member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists AACP & the North West Upper Limb Group. Nilesh regularly attends courses & conferences to maintain his knowledge and clinical skills to a high standard. Over the years Nilesh has also taken part in under graduate education for the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme at the University of Central Lancashire in interviewing prospective candidates and moderating practical exams.
In his spare time Nilesh enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking visiting the gym and practicing martial arts.
